Privacy & Imprint

This site sets no cookies, embeds no social-media widgets and carries no advertising. It does count page views, using GoatCounter, an open-source counter chosen because it needs no cookies, collects no personal data and does not follow anyone between sites. What it stores is a page, a date, a rough country and a referring site — never you. We cannot tell who you are, and we do not try.

Two technical notes for completeness. First, our hosting provider (Hostinger) keeps standard server access logs — IP address, time, page requested — for security and capacity purposes, as virtually all web hosts do. Second, the site's typefaces load from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests font files from Google's servers; Google's privacy policy applies to those requests. Self-hosting the fonts is on the roadmap.

If you email us, we see what any correspondent sees: your address and what you wrote. We use it to reply, and for nothing else.

Middle East Minorities (middleeastminorities.org) is a non-commercial, independent documentary project.
